With over 50 work sites, we need a lot of site supervisors to ensure that our care is fine-tuned to the needs and interests of the individuals being supported. Employees with experience as direct care professionals are usually first in line for openings as shift supervisors, residential coordinators, live-in residential supervisors or senior residential supervisors. These are all fantastic opportunities to gain professional experience in coordinating health care, staffing and activities.
One of best things about ACR’s supervisory positions is the thorough training ACR provides. Supervisors report that they feel well-prepared for the various aspects of their work.

One of ACR’s specialties is providing residential care for people with a high level of medical needs. To do that well–to make it possible for a medically fragile person to live in a home, not a hospital–requires strong nursing oversight. Therefore, ACR employs shift LPNs and RNs, as well as case manager nurses. Nursing grads with experience as direct care professionals at ACR are usually first in line for openings in nursing positions at ACR. HR and IT Support Staff
Put your knowledge of ACR’s goals, systems and people to work in a new way! ACR’s HR office and other support staff are more often than not former ACR direct care professionals. ACR makes good maintenance a priority. Maintaining attractive, well-kept homes creates a pleasant environment for the people we support and facilitates their acceptance and relationships with neighbors and the community. This role involves taking charge of the maintenance needs of several of our homes. Involves daily travel to residences, trouble shooting, creative problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Good carpentry skills and an understanding of basic plumbing and electrical concerns a must. M-F days with rotating on-call schedule.
